A fleet of helicopters and one aircraft is operated by Heli-Holland
Holding BV out of Emmen, Lelystad, Den Helder and Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Gdansk in Poland.
Heli-Holland is dealer for Schweizer and Airbus Helicopters. The photos on this
page are taken at their heliport in Emmer-Erfscheidenveen along the
orbital road of Emmen. On this location, the Heli Holland head office and
Heli Holland Technics, a Civil Helicopter Maintenance, Repair and
Overhaul (MRO) centre, are situated. Maintenance is taken place for their own fleet and a number of customers.
Heli-Holland Technics is a JAR145 maintenance centre, including Bell 206-series, and an Airbus Helicopters Service Center. The fleet
of Heli-Holland Holding BV consists of: one Cessna 402B aircraft and
two Hughes 269C / Schweizer 300; one Schweizer 269D/330; one Schweizer
269D/333; two SNIAS AS.355-F1; one SNIAS AS.355-F2; one Agusta-Bell 206B
JetRanger II; one Bell 206L1 LongRanger II; four Eurocopter EC-120 B
Colibri and three Eurocopter EC155 B1 Dauphin II and one Airbus Helicopters H175 B helicopter.
Over the years a number of Hughes 269B, 269C and Schweizer 300 helicopters were operated. On 14 April 1975, Hughes 269B PH-HOP
was the first helicopter registered by Heli-Holland. The first 269C was the PH-JOH,
registered on 29 May 1976. Hughes 269C PH-HBH was registered first with Heli-Holland
BV on 31 October 1983, and on 2 November 1983, registration PH-HBH was cancelled as exported to Sweden as SE-HNC. On 27 February 1990, registration SE-HNC was
cancelled and on 8 May 1990, the Hughes was restored as PH-HBH with Heli Holland Holding BV. On 16 October 1992, registration PH-HBH was cancelled as the Hughes
was withdrawn from use. The helicopter was rebuilt and restored to the register as PH-HBH with Heli Holland Holding BV on 26 February 1996.
Schweizer Aircraft Co. developed the 269D out of the 269 basic design. The 269D uses the 269 airframe, has
an enlarged cabin and is powered by an Allison 250 turboshaft engine. Schweizer markets the 269D as Model 330.
Three helicopters of the type are operated by Heli-Holland:
PH-HHA and
PH-HHB. Schweizer 269D Model 330
c/n 0016 wear the test registration N69A before the aircraft was delivered to Heli-Holland. On 7 June 1996, the Schweizer 269D Model 330 was registered
PH-HHB in the Netherlands. In 2005, Schweizer 269D Model 330 PH-HHB is modified to the Model 333 with increased payload.
The Agusta-Bell AB.206B JetRanger II is a 5-seat light utility helicopter powered by a single Rolls Royce
Allison 250-C20 turbine engine.
Heli-Holland operates one Agusta-Bell 206B JetRanger II,
the PH-HWH. Agusta-Bell
206B Jet Ranger II c/n 8076 was built in 1968 as an Agusta-Bell AB-206A Jet Ranger and
registered first G-AWLL in the UK. In 1977, the aircraft was upgraded to an AB-206B JetRanger
II. In 1993, the G-AWLL was sold in the Netherlands and the registration was cancelled on 31 August 1993. On 3 September 1993,
the JetRanger II was registered PH-HWH (PH-HXH ntu) in the Netherlands with Heli-Holland Holding BV, Emmer-Compascuum.
The Bell 206L1 LongRanger II is a 7-seat light utility helicopter powered by a single Rolls Royce Allison 250-C20B
turbine engine. Late 1973 the development of the LongRanger, a stretched Jet Ranger was announced. The
Long Ranger flew first in 1974 and production started early 1975. Heli-Holland operates the Bell 206L1 LongRanger II
PH-HHK. On 17 November 2006, the helicopter arrived on delivery as YR-SAS at the
Heli-Holland heliport near Emmen. The Bell 206L1 LongRanger II was registered as PH-HHK with Heli-Holland Holding BV on 6 March 2007.
The EC120 B is a 5-seat single engine helicopter. The Eurocopter EC120 flew first on 9 June 1995. As the Bell 206L,
Hughes 500 and Schweizer 330, the EC120 got certificated in the
Netherlands with Heli-Holland. For the certification with the Rijks Luchtvaart Dienst, Eurocopter
EC120 B c/n 1069 was tested as F-WQDY before it was registered on 21 December 1999 as
PH-RBC with Heli Holland Holding BV. This
was the first of a number Eurocopter EC120B Colibri helicopters imported by Heli-Holland and delivered to
their customers. Eurocopter EC120 B Colibri PH-ECD was delivered on 4 December 2000 and is next
to the PH-ECE;
PH-KGJ; and
PH-WRW operated by Heli-Holland.
The Twin Star is a twin engined light utility helicopter. It accommodates
6 persons, including the pilot. Heli-Holland operates two SNIAS AS.355-F1 TwinStar
helicopters:
PH-HHC and
PH-HVH. The PH-HHC was
registered on 18 November 1997. Before it entered service with Heli-Holland it
was operated in the USA as N357E and in Italy as I-VIEY. The PH-HHC was stationed
at Hato AB in the Netherlands Antilles and operated for the Dutch Navy / Koninklijke
Marine until it was replaced in April 2005 by the
PH-HVH.
The PH-HHC returned to the Netherlands where the machine went through a total makeover and
became as good as new when it was ready. The helicopter was photographed during maintenance
test-flight on 24 February 2006. The PH-HHC and PH-HVH are (temporarely) withdrawn from use.
The Twin Star is a twin engined light utility helicopter. It accommodates

the "TwinStar". The third Twin Star operated by Heli-Holland is a SNIAS AS.355-F2.
This Twin Star arrived as RP-C1556 in Emmen on 10 October 2001. The helicopter was registered
as PH-HHJ with Heli-Holland Holding on 7 December 2001.
On 28 February 2008, registration PH-HHJ was cancelled as the helicopter received a major overhaul with Heli Holland Technics.
The renewed
PH-HHJ was restored to the register on 1 October 2008.
The Eurocopter EC-155 B1 is a medium-weight multi-role utility helicopter powered by a pair of Turbomeca Arrius 2C2
turbine engines, accommodating up to 12 passengers and 2 crew. The EC 155 B1 has a 'glass cockpit' and a five-bladed
Spheriflex main rotor with an extremely low vibration level. The new generation of Fenestron tail rotor takes part in
the decrease in external noise level. In 2007, the 2005-built EC155 B1 c/n 6708 (ex 3A-MAG; F-WWOY) was bought and
registered PH-EQU with Eques Asset BV, Amsterdam, on 30 May 2007. Next to EC155 B1 Dauphin II
PH-EQU, Heli Holland Offshore operates EC155 B1
PH-SHO and EC155 B1
PH-EUB.
The Airbus Helicopters H175 is a medium-weight multi-role utility twin engine helicopter accommodating up to 18 passengers and 2 crew.
