The Heli-Sport CH-7 Kompress is a two-seat microlight helicopter powered by a single 4-cylinder, 4-stroke turbocharged Rotax 914 engine.
The CH-7 Kompress is designed by Elisport, Torino, Italy, and is a further development of the 1987 CH-6 designed by Augusto Cicare
and the 1992 single-seat CH-7 Angel. The double seat tandem, double control microlight helicopter has a a fully enclosed cabin in a tiny streamlined pod.
The Rotax 914 engine is mounted in the centre section. A strut-braced tubular tail-boom carries a small fin and a two-bladed tail rotor.
The Kompress has a two-bladed semi-rigid composite main rotor. The ultralight CH-7 Kompress helicopter is sold as a kit to amateur builders. |
