The Maule M-7-235B Super Rocket is a single piston engine, five-seated, steel cage construction, high wing STOL aircraft with conventional
tail and tailwheel. However, five-seated is not really a pleasure for longer flights due to the lack of space in the cabin of this taildragger.
The Maule M-7-235B is a further development of the 1983 Maule M-7 and was approved by the FAA on 14 October 1993. The Maule M-7 itself was
evolved from the 1957 built Maule M-4 Bee Dee. The Maule M7-series are built and developed by Maule Air Inc. in Moultrie,
Georgia, USA. Next to the fixed landing gear taildragger the M-7 series is available as an amphibian aeroplane and
as a floatplane. In 2003, a further development of the Maule M-7, the Maule M-9 was introduced. Since, the
Maule M-9 replaced the Maule M-7 in production. |
On 19 August 1996, the airworthy of Maule MT-7-235B Super Rocket s/n 23023C was tested and the aircraft was registered N1027G in the USA.
On 17 September 2014, Maule MT-7-235B N1027G was substantial damaged when the right main landing gear collapsed during
a landing at Le Touquet - Côte d'Opale Airport in France. The aircraft was repaired and returned in service. On 28 March 2017, Maule MT-7-235B
Super Rocket N1027G was flown from Farnbourough in the UK to Hoogeveen airfield in the Netherlands. The Maule MT-7-235B Super Rocket is registered
as N1027G in the USA with Southern Aircraft Consultancy Inc Trustee, Bungay, UK, but is owned by and flying with a privat owner in Europe. |
