On 30 April 1974, the 1974-built Cessna 500 Citation s/n 500-0157 was registered PH-CTD in the Netherlands
by the Dutch Government on behalf of the Rijksluchtvaartschool. In August 1991, the RLS became the KLM Luchtvaartschool
and the Citation was transferred too. In June 1994, the PH-CTD was sold to Uniwest Air at Lelystad Airport. On 1 May 1997,
registration PH-CTD was cancelled as exported to the USA and the next day, the aircraft was registered N190AB with ECA Inc.,
Wilmington. On 19 August 1997, registration N190AB was cancelled as exported to Portugal and on 28 August 1997 registered
CS-DCA with Air Luxor as operator. On 17 December 1999, registration CS-DCA was cancelled and on 19 May 2000, the aircraft
was registered EC-HFY in Spain with Gestair SA as operator. On 18 September 2000, registration EC-HFY was cancelled and on
21 November 200, the aircraft was restored to the Spanish register, this time as EC-HPQ. After being operated by several
operators, Cessna 500 Citation EC-HPQ was withdrawn from use and stored at stored at Cuatro Vientos, Madrid, Spain. Despite
the aircraft is stored already for a long period, it is still registered EC-HPQ in Spain. |
