PH-DBB Boeing 757-230 c/n 24738 l/n 274 - Dutchbird - Brussels Airport in Belgium - 1 August 2003 Brussels Airport (BRU)

Dutch Bird (5A/DBR) was founded in 2000 and based at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands. Operations started with a single Boeing 757-230 on 22 November 2000. In 2004, the fleet of this charter company consisted of 3 Boeing 757 and 2 Airbus A.320 airliners. In the winter of 2004, Dutch Bird ran in financial problems. Airbus A.320 PH-BMC & PH-BMD were grounded at Nimes-Garons. Dutchbird Boeing 757-230s PH-DBA, PH-DBB and PH-DBH were grounded by Boeing and registered in the USA. Dutch Bird ceased operations on 21 December 2004. Dutchbird was adjudged bankrupt on 27 January 2005.

Boeing 757-8K2 s/n 24738 l/n 274 flew first on 3 March 1990 and was delivered to Condor as D-ABNB on 5 April 1990. The Boeing was leased to and registered with Dutch Bird as PH-DBB on 20 April 2001. In the period 26 June 2003 - 25 May 2004, Boeing 757 PH-DBB was sub-leased by Thomas Cook Airlines. In the winter of 2004, Dutch Bird ran in financial problems. The Dutchbird Boeing 757-230 PH-DBB was grounded by Boeing and registered in the USA. On 12 January 2005, the PH-DBB was registered N246BA with Boeing Aircraft Holding Co. Dutchbird was adjudged bankrupt on 27 January 2005. Boeing 757-230 PH-DBB was photographed at Brussels Airport in Belgium when leased by Thomas Cook Airlines.
