D-ABDB Airbus A320-214 c/n 2619 - Small Planet Airlines - Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in Holland - 27 September 2017 Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS)

Small Planet Airlines was founded in 2009 and operates today twenty Airbus A320 and four A321 airliners. Small Planet Airlines Germany GmbH is part of the leisure company Small Planet Airlines and operate flights from Amsterdam in cooperation with Neckermann – a part of “Thomas Cook” – which is the second biggest tour operator in Europe. For this operations Small Planet Airlines lease Neckermann one Airbus A320 aircraft to operate flights to Las Palmas, Tenerife Sur, Lanzarote, Crete, Kos, Rhodes, Split, and Palma de Mallorca. The flights from Amsterdam are handled by Small Planet Airlines GmbH which is operating under the German AOC.

On 18 November 2005, Airbus A320-214 c/n 2619 flew first with Airbus test-registration F-WWDK. On 12 December 2005, the Airbus A320-214 was delivered as D-ABDB to Air Berlin. On 27 April 2012, Airbus A320-214 D-ABDB was leased to OLT Express Poland and re-registered SP-IAH. On 31 July 2012, OLT Express Poland ceased its operations and in August 2012, the Airbus returned in service with Air Berlin as D-ABDB. In April 2016, Airbus A320-214 D-ABDB was painted in Small Planet Airlines colours at Ostrava in the Czech Republic and was delivered to Small Planet Airlines GmbH on 10 May 2016. On 27 September 2017, the Small Planet Airlines / Neckermann' Airbus A320-214 D-ABDB was seen at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands.
