TC-OAI Airbus A.321-231 c/n 787 - Onur Air - Groningen Airport Eelde in Holland - 15 June 2005 Groningen Airport Eelde (GRQ)

Onur Air was founded on 14 May 1992 and started their flying operations with the Airbus A320. In 2005, Onur operated a fleet of 24 airliners including the Airbus A.300; A.320 and A.321 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-88.

Airbus A.321-231 s/n 787 was built for ILFC and flew first with test registration D-AVZL on 17 February 1998. The Airbus was leased first by Aero Lloyd and delivered as D-ALAG on 3 March 1998. On 22 December 2003, ILFC leased the Airbus to Onur Air and the aircraft was re-registered TC-OAI. When photographed at Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands, the Airbus was operated on a holiday flight. On 1 June 2004, Airbus TC-OAI aborted its take-off run at Groningen when a bird struck engine #1.
