G-BVKD Boeing 737-59D c/n 26421 l/n 2279 - bmibaby - Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in Holland - 13 July 2005 Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS)

bmibaby is a subsidiary of British Midland Airways and was formed in January 2002. In 2005, bmibaby operated a fleet of 10 Boeing 737-300 and 6 Boeing 737-500 airliners on scheduled and charter flights. Bmibaby's Visit Wales logojet, the Boeing 737-59D G-BVKD was painted in a fantastic special 'Visit Wales' livery when it was photographed at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands. Boeing 737-59D s/n 26421 l/n 2279 flew first on 23 April 1992 and was delivered as SE-DNK. Linjeflyg, LOT and SAS operated the Boeing before it was transferred to British Midland Airways. On 25 November 1994, the Boeing was registered G-BVKD in the UK with British Midland Airways Ltd. The G-BVKD was operated by BMI British Midland until May 2003 when it was transferred to bmibaby.
