Martinair was founded on May 24th 1958 by Martin Schröder as Martin's Luchtvervoer Maatschappij NV, known as Martin's
Air Charter (MAC). The company name was changed in 1974 in Martinair Holland NV. Martinair Holland is a subsidiary of
KLM and Nedloydd and operated in 2005 a fleet of 3 Airbus 320-200, 1 Boeing 737-800, 4 Boeing 747-200, 6 Boeing 767-300
and 7 McDonnell Douglas MD-11 airliners. The home base of Martinair Holland is Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands. |
