The Dassault Falcon 2000EX is a twin-engine executive jet aircraft with transcontinental range for
two crew and up to 12 passengers. Dassault announced the development of
the Dassault Falcon 2000, then known as the Falcon X, at the Paris
Airshow in June 1989. The development of the aircraft was carried out by
Dassault in partnership with Alenia. The twinjet Falcon 2000 is a
slightly smaller development of the Falcon 900 trijet, and are both a
further development of the earlier Dassault Falcon 20. The Falcon 2000 was
flown first on 4 March 1993. Custom deliveries of the with two CFE-738-1-1B General Electric/Honeywell equiped engines Falcon 2000 started in March
1995. The Falcon 2000EX with more powerful Pratt & Whitney PW/3087/C twin-spool
turbofan engines and extra fuel capacity, was flown first in October 2001,
and entered service in May 2003. The Falcon 2000EX EASy, with the EASy flight deck, was first flown in January 2003 and received
US and European certification in June 2004. The current production versions are the
Falcon 2000DX and Falcon 2000LX. |

The 2004-built Dassault Falcon 2000EX s/n 034 was testflown as F-WWGM.
The Falcon 2000EX EAsy was registered HB-JEG in Switzerland with ComLux Aviation AG, Kloten, as operator and Gem Aircraft, Zug, as owner,
and entered service on 11 November 2004. Dassault Falcon 2000EX HB-JEG is known as the personal aircraft of Michael Schumacher. |
